What is a miracle you saw this week? We had this friend we would often run into on the way home from church. He didn't have a phone because he was robbed and so there was no easy way to teach him. We gave him a book of Mormon and would always invite him to church, but there was no way to teach him really. But yesterday by a miracle we saw him again in yesterday, and it was his birthday. And guess what his brother gave him for his birthday, a phone! So now we can basically start teaching him. What are you excited about for the month of December?  I am excited for light the world! That should be super fun as a missionary and we should be able to teach a lot of people. I feel like people hearts are probably more open during the holiday season. Any new people that you are teaching? We found 12 new people this week, so crazy. We have been talking to tons of people on the streets and see if they are interested. Just the other day we were walking home and I just yell at this guy AM...

What interesting people are you teaching? We have our friend Henry who is on bap date this week. He was first interested in English class but now he only meets with us instead of going to English class hahah. He is supposed to get baptized on December 5 if everything goes to plan. He is from Colombia and he has tons of friends in church, he was telling us about how he and this member talked on the phone the other day forever. And he is currently looking for a room to live in because we are pretty sure his landlady is kicking him out for meeting with us whattttt. One other person that I think is cool is Maura, the other day when we had a lesson with her and asked about the reading we gave he, she showed us that she had highlighted the book of Mormón and the verses she liked. It was so awesome. She has two little boys and she is just super cute and from Honduras. One other cool person is Emilio from the DR, he is a police officer and so he doesn't have a whole lot of time. But the ...

How is missionary work going? It's popping off. We found 8 new people this week and we have just been booked solid with so many lessons and things which is really good because this week flew by. We have 2 people on bap date, one lady Yesenia is so cute but we haven't had lessons because she and her son have had covid, and then the other person on Bap date his name is Cristian and he's got like all the same questions as Joseph Smith and he just told us he really wants to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. What is the best thing that happened this week? Every time we walk to the church we pass these brothers who run a fruit stand. And so I've become friends with them and so the other day I gave one of them a book of Mormon. And then he was slike I don't have a lot of time for it but it is interesting. But his other brother was like hey ill read it and so hopefully we can get in better contact with them because that would be cool. We talk to so many people on the streets...

How has your week been? Pretty good! We found 7 new people to teach, 6 people came to church, and we have been really busy which is good. But it is a bit stressful trying to manage it all and I just find myself getting easily frustrated. But I just got to refer that God has a plan for it all, and if I am doing my best, all will turn out how it is supposed to! How was zone conference? It was good. We were challenged to read the entire book of Mormon by the end of the year and so I started doing that. And they are encouraging us to work with members and get referrals from them because when members refer people, there's a higher chance of baptism and retention. And then we also talked about overcoming fear and how to trust in God and remember our purpose! How are things with your companion?  We've been praying for you.  However, if you have to lead the companionship, just realize that you are a natural leader and will probably have to do that a lot. It's been pretty good. ...

How is your new area? It's alright. I miss Manhattan though. We have a lot of work to do here and lots of potential people, it's just hard when neither of us know the people or the area. But there are a lot of Spanish speakers and they do sell churros here.  How is your companion? She's super nice and kind. She is quiet though and will not take the lead in anything. It's almost like she can't think for herself. She always asks me like what we should do or if she should do something even though she's been in the mission longer than me. It is just hard because I feel like I have had to make all the decisions s and do all the work! She's a little bit clueless haha and it is a bit frustrating. So I am really praying for patience and that I can see the good in her. She is really good at saying prayers that are five ever long. How has it been trying to figure out the area when you are both new? It has been hard. I am stressed and pretty anxious and I feel bad be...

My week has been pretty good. We have been so busy with so many different finding and teaching opportunities. It really does make it go fast when you are always going going going. I am getting transferred. Guess where... The Bronx. I am heading to Kingsbridge and I am blinding in. Which means my companion has not been serving in the area yet either. So we will both be brand new to the area. My companion's name is Sister Felsted. Something interesting this week is that earlier we were walking home to our apartment and talked to this lady in Spanish for a bit. So we talk about it and give her a book of Mormon. And we try to get her number so we can talk about it more. But most old Hispanics literally don't know their phone number or don't even have a phone. So I'm like well what's your address and we will come to visit you. And so we got her address and later this week we went a visited her. She lives in like an old people's apartment complex. And so we tried bu...

How are the new people you are teaching? We started teaching this awesome guy whose actual name is Marco Polo. Lots of Hispanics will say God first and not actually mean it. But this guy does because he came to church and he wants to have consistent lessons even though he works a lot, is at classes at the University, and is taking English classes. And at church, we introduced him to a lot of people and he quickly become friends with them. people were asking us to be in lessons with him hahaha. How was your ward activity?  Festival of something (I can't remember what you called it) Ohhhh yeahhh this was so awesome. There were tamales and empanadas and tons of rice and beans and plantains and tons of other stuff I don't know the name of. And then there was also dancing which was lit and it was so funny that there was no alcohol involved haha. And I need to invite all these people to my wedding for a super awesome dance party. What was the best part of your week? The best part ...
